Dear qiujiange:
Thanks for your message.

Smart Cutter does support Win 2008.

Please follow below steps to see whether it helps.
1.download the most updated portable version of Smart Cutter.
http://www.fame-ring.com/smart.cutter.rar
2.decompress it to a directory, say C:\FameRing, but not C:\Program Files this time. Keep these default settings and run.

Are you using Nvidia/Geforce display card?
If so, this may help:

solution from Arthur:
Here's my tip and it did work for me.
1 - No offence with fame-ring.com but this program Smart Cutter is not really optimized with Windows 7 64-bit OS it seems to have a memory management problem. So here what I did that works. The shortcut created by the program - Right-click, Properties, go to Compatibility tab and check Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows XP (Service Pack3) and you don't have to check any other options and apply. - That's it!
2 - For users with anti-virus program problems - Right-click on Computers and Advance System Settings, under Advance tab and Performance click Settings, Data Execution Prevention tab then select Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select. Click Add and select the Smart-Cutter program and Apply then Ok. A restart of your computer is a must so it will take effect the DEP instruction.

And a similar approach from Flemming:
I did found a solution there will work with both 1.3.1 and 1.3.2...
Just run the program in compability mode and set it to Windows XP SP3
Problem solved even with preview enabled...
