Actually we did not think that many people need smart rendering on MKV files.
Could you please tell us the source of your MKV files? From DV Cam, DVB, HD PVR, or WEB videos?

Would second the request for MKV input file support. Initial source would be DVB. However as TS files are not the optimal way to keep your files, in most cases the cutting is followed by encoding via FFMPEG to MKV. If one finds out that in the initial cutting there was a part left out (as has happened to me many times) that needs to be cut, it would be nice to be able to cut this out even after the original TS file has been encoded to MKV.
