Crashing on Windows 8.1 Desktop

Hi. Hope you can help.

I am trying to run smartcutter on my desktop and when cutting an HD web download video it gets to around 1 minute of scrolling before it crashes. Can you offer suggestions as to what settings I should have for my screen display (resolution) etc. I have 16GB memory on an i7 PC with twin ATI Radeon HD5800 series cards (crossfirex). Are there any other settings I should try? I have downloaded the latest version of smart cutter and tried older versions and the problem remains. I've also tried Repairing the software - no joy with that.

Kind Regards

Dear safehaven:
Thanks for your message.

'when cutting an HD web download video it gets to around 1 minute of scrolling before it crashes'
Does this happen on every video file? or just on this specific file?

Please help us to show and identify the problem.

Could you please upload a original video sample showing the problem to our ftp server for a test?

It would be better if the sample file size is less than 50 MB.

-------------------------------------
before uploading sample, please create sub-directory with your name under the root, then upload sample to this sub-directory.

FULL priviliged --- mkdir, read, write, remove
Will be helpful to limit the sample file size under 50MB.
Thank you.
