Crash in version 1.9.1

Hello,
I am using smart cutter since June initially without problems.
Unfortunately, since beginning of October I have problems to start the program.
I deleted and completely re-installed the Smart Cutter software, but unfortunately without success: It is possible to open a TS-file and fix the cutting marks. But the program is collapsing immediately after pushing the "start batch" button in order to record the new file.
Please find the windows 7 report as follows (hoping this helps you to understand the problem):

Dear James.T.:
Thanks for your message.
'the program is collapsing immediately after pushing the "start batch" button in order to record the new file.'
Does this happen on every movie files or just on one specific movie file?
Please try our most updated portable versoin
http://www.fame-ring.com/smart.cutter.rar
see whether it helps.
Please feel free to send us your further advice and suggestion.
Thank you very much.
Best Regards,

Good Morning Support Team!
Thank you for your quick reply!
The problems happen on every movie file I record.
I used to record the files with a USB TV-stick via DVBViewer from Terratec (Edition 8.0.33) as MPEG-2-TS. As explained I had no problems at all from June til beginning of October.
The smart cutter software writes down a zero size new file before collapsing.
Unfortunately the same problems occurs when I am following you link to use your most updated portable version.
Looking forward to your reply.
Thank you very much and
kind regards, James.T.

Dear James.T.:
Thanks for your message.
'The problems happen on every movie file I record. ... smart cutter software writes down a zero size new file before collapsing.'
Please help us to show and identify the problem.
What is your OS? Is it XP, Vista, Win7 or Win8?
Could you please upload a original video sample showing the problem to our ftp server for a test?
It would be better if the sample file size is less than 50 MB.
If you can not find small sample, use this simple tool to split your movie file into small pieces, and upload any one of them.
http://www.softpedia.com/get/PORTABLE-S ... rger.shtml
-------------------------------------
before uploading sample, please create sub-directory with your name under the root, then upload sample to this sub-directory.
FULL priviliged --- mkdir, read, write, remove
Will be helpful to limit the sample file size under 50MB.
Thank you.

Having the same issue with the latest version that I'm on a trial with as well... Windows 8.1 x64...
Ran fine with some mp4 files I had..but I sent it an MPEG2 and it crashes each time and leaves a 0k file behind. Smart.exe terminates unexpectedly.

Sorry for my late reply. I was travelling a lot, but my problem still occurs.
I have uploaded a sample file to your FTP server according to your instructions (sub directory James.T.)
Hoping that you will find a way to solve this problem.
I am looking forward to receiving your feedback!
Thank you in advance.

Dear James.T.:
Thanks for your message and the sample file.
We tried to cut the sample file but did not found any problem. It is okay to open and cut it in Smart Cutter on our end.
So, are you sure this sample file failed Smart Cutter on your end?
Looking forward to your further message.
Thank you very much.

Good Morning Support Team,
Thank your for trying.
Unfortunately, I have to confirm the problems exactly with the file I uploaded. As told before, a 0 KB file is created and the program is collapsing.
I am running Win7 Professional (Service pack 1), 64 Bit.
Hoping that you will identify the problem I am looking forward to re-start my cutting activities.
Best regards,
James.T.

I have the same problem as well..if you need a machine to look at, I can setup a screen sharing session so you can run through any tests you'd like... I'm on the final days of my trial and I'd really like to get this working, as one other clip I had worked properly, this other one does not...as mpeg2 or a converted h.264 file...it crashes immediately upon starting the conversion.
Don't mean to hijack the thread, but hoping we're both running into the same issue...
