I am running licensed version of Smart Cutter for DV and DVB v1.8.4
Used Smart Cutter to split recorded movie file.
Now application does not open split file(s) anymore. Program simply does nothing. File plays fine in WMP.
You will find .ts file on your support ftp in directory mbrockma.

Hello,
Currently I have the same problems: I cannot open any *.ts file from my Dreambox 8000 sat receiver in SmartCutter, as I could before.
Normally I used drag-n-drop but even the <Ctrl>+<O> dialog is not opening my *.ts files.
So I treated the files with TS-Doctor, but these file too will not be opened.
I am running a registered Version of SmartCutter 1.8.4.
Using Windows 7 Home Premium x64 with 16 GB RAM.
Please advice how to get this running again.

Actually we have identified the reason of the problem, and are making a fix for it. It will be included in the nexe release.

It is good to hear that you could reproduce and solve that problem. I hope to see a fixed version soon, because I already have to cut a lot of recordings till now.

Dear joergg, while waiting for a new version to solve your problem, please try the version 1.8.2. I am working now with this version and it works fine good, even with files coming from HD DVB-T broadcasting (TVE-HD from Spain, format ts 1280x720 resolution)
