Distorted Video With Smart Cutter

Is there a setting to prevent the kind of distortion I am getting as shown below? It seems to happen when I move the slider to go back or click the previous frame button. I am using Smart Cutter version 1.7.9 on a Windows 7 64 bit system. It has an Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 processor with 8gb of ram.

Please help us to show and identify the problem.
1.Does this also happen on the final cut result? or just seen in Smart Cutter?
2.Could you please upload a video sample (showing the problem) to our ftp server for a test?

It would be better if the sample file size is less than 50 MB.

If you can not find small sample, use this simple tool to split your movie file into small pieces, and upload any one of them.

before uploading sample, please create sub-directory with your name under the root, then upload sample to this sub-directory.

FULL priviliged --- mkdir, read, write, remove
Will be helpful to limit the sample file size under 50MB.

Yes, this distortion appears in the final result, at the beginning of the video. I uploaded an example file to the directory "kc27"

Thank you! I tested it on a multiple files that distorted when cut, and all edit fine now with no distortion. Nice job on fixing this issue quickly and thoroughly. This solution was necessary in order for me to finish a project.

I have still such distortions. It looks similar to the screenshot and it does also happen on the final cut result.
I'm using Smart Cutter ver. 1.8.4.

I have M2TS files from my Canon HF11 camera which show some distortion when played. And after cutting the file the beginning of the playback is distorted also.

I have uploaded a sample file which shows the distortion.
