Smart Cutter 1x -> Beta?

Hi,
after one day of using Smart Cutter and reading through the forum, it seems to me, SC is still beta.
It's ok, most software is already sold if it is still beta, but one could be told.
I am encountering most problems that are described in the forum like discontinuities on cut positions, (hw)-decoders unable to deal with the reencoded passages, audio-gaps...
This isn't something one wants in a final product.
Wouldnt it be easier to use a process like cuttermaran, where raw streams are dealt with separately and remuxed after cutting?
At least as long as your ts-creation routines dont work properly?
