Dear FameRing Support Team,
i have another problem which i don't understand. everytime when i try to activate the Auto De-Interlace button, i become the message, that it'll cost more system resource and the little box changes to yellow, but when i open the options again it is grey again. (i'm using the 1.2.2a activated version)
Best regards,

Dear zoldike:
Thanks for reminding us.
Yes, the 'Auto De-Interlace' option is not saved correctly in current version.
Actually, this option is only used under special conditions. For some very old types of video adaptors, say manufactured 10 years ago, this option is selected for a correct display, otherwise the video is showed as its half-resolution.
Due to the demand of frame accuracy, we can not use hardware accelerated De-Interlace in our products. As you know, 'Auto De-Interlace' by software(CPU) costs extra system resource which is not recommended.
And this 'Auto De-Interlace' option only affects the display but not the transcoding. The Smart Cutter decides the interlacing type of the output video only according to the source movie file.
So this option is very seldomly used.
Any way, if you really want to save this option all the time, we could ask the developers for a change.
Thanks for your information.
Best Regards,

When I grab a frame during panning, I see two superimposed images. I tried using the de-interlace option, but you say this is not working. Is there any way to deinterlace a grabbed frame?

We already know how to improve this. It may take some time to implement.
We will keep you posted about the progress.

Thank you.
