Smart Cutter 1.3.4 - many bugs

Bugs in Smart Cutter 1.3.4 portable, tested under Windows 7 64 Bit

1. At the cut position artefacts are produced (as described by Ralle http://www.fame-ring.com/forum/viewtopi ... t=157#p685).

2. If conversion is stopped ("Exit" in window "Please wait for message: conversion done!"), the program crashes: Error message of Microsoft Virtual C++ Runtime Library.

3. If a file shall be overwritten ("Record List!" and "link" activated), a new file is produced. If e.g. the file to be overwritten is called "Test.ts", then the new file reads "test.ts.12.ts". If "Test.ts" shall be overwritten further times, then the new additional files read "Test.0.ts", "Test.1.ts", etc.. The file "Test.ts" is never overwritten.

4. If the order of the batch list is changed by drag and drop, only the lines are moved in the list on the screen. However, "view" shows that the order of the internal list hasn't changed! The order of the video parts in the recorded file is wrong.

5. If a new start point is set, however no-one new end point (00:00:00:000), the conversion is carried out up to the end of file. An error warning is missing (e.g. "Start point greater than end point!").

6. If a conversion has been carried out and only the start point is corrected after that (end point is still the previous), the conversion is carried out up to the end of file.

Dear snipsnip:
Thanks for your concern.
1. At the cut position artefacts are produced
Could you please try the cut movie in Smart Cutter, and see whether the artefacts are still there?
2. If conversion is stopped ... the program crashes
3. If a file shall be overwritten ... is never overwritten.
4. If the order of the batch list is changed by drag and drop ... The order of the video parts in the recorded file is wrong.
Our developers are trying to identify these problems.
5. If a new start point is set ...
6. If a conversion has been carried out and only the start point is corrected ...
Actually the End point with a time code '00:00:00:000' means processing till the movie over.

Please feel free to send us your further advice and suggestion.
Thank you very much.

At version 1.3.5 the artefacts are just like before.
But I have diagnosed: the artefacts 1 to 2 seconds after the cut position are dependent on the used video program!

Media Player Classic - artefacts
VLC-Player - artefacts, less than Media Player Classic
Windows Mediaplaer - more artefacts and addionally flickering screen
PowerDVD - perfect!
Smart Cutter 1.3.5 - perfect!

I have a short cut of a 10 GB .ts file, at which with Media Player Classic the screen stops and the sound goes on another couple of seconds.

My tests files are AVCHD 1280 x 720 .ts files.

I will upload the test and project file.

Dear snipsnip:
Sorry for the latency.
2. If conversion is stopped ... the program crashes
This should have been fixed in the new version.

It is fixed. But the message box 'MESSAGE FROM FAME' shows a wrong message: 'Transcodung complete!' She schould be called: 'Converting uncomplete!'
