mute but still sound

Hi,
I choose mute but still I am getting sound, which I do not want with certain files.
Also when I choose a very low output level the volume is still as in the original file.

Dear arnor:
Thanks for your posting.

The 'Mute' only applies to the playback procedure in the Smart Cutter. It does not affect the output movie file.
As the main demand of the software, it does not change the original sound data.
