Crash while sliding through .ts files

Hi,

Despite being a generally fantastic tool to edit .ts files captured from TV, Smart Cutter occassionally crashes while using the slider (or other methods) leaving an 'Assertion failed' message on screen. This happens at the same point in the file each time I open it with Smart Cutter. I've emailed a small sample file - hopefully you can reproduce the error & more importantly solve the problem. Version 1.2.8 didn't help & the crashes can be very frustrating.

Thanks for your help.

Dear willbe:
Thanks for your message.

Your sample file has been received okay.
We re-produced the problem in Smart Cutter. It is related to mpeg2 video stream parsing.

Since it can be easily re-produced, we think it will not take long to fix.
We may include a fix on it in the new version soon.
We will keep you posted about the progress.

Please feel free to send us your further advice and suggestion.
Thank you.

Best Regards,
FameRing Support Team

Wow! Successfully edited a range of .ts files (including some that had previously caused trouble) using new version 1.2.9 with no crashes. I'm quite frankly stunned by your speedy efforts in solving this. You guys are legends & so is your software!

Thanks heaps,
Willbe
