BBC HD - Corruption on Joins

Hi,

Thanks for your excellent product, it beats all of the competition in H.264 frame editing.

I record a lot of BBC HD content here in Britain, where they use extremely customised H.264 encoders and they are causing an issue with your software.

Whenever I combine content (using the Record List! function) from the BBC broadcasts I get corruption on the second video file in the join.

I have uploaded the following files to your FTP:
File 1 - Segment 1.ts
File 2 - Segment 2.ts
File 3 - Combined.ts

I have created Segment 1.ts, Segment 2.ts and then created Combined.ts (Segment 1.ts+Segment 2.ts). The individual Segment 1.ts and Segment 2.ts files have no corruption, but when joined and playing back Combined.ts the start of Segment 2 is corrupted.

This behaviour also happens if I perform the same steps with the two source files and go straight to Combined.ts.

Please can you look into this and identify the problem?

Dear MrM:
Thanks for your sample files.

We did re-produce the problem, it looks related to the H.264 video structure.
We are still examining the samples, trying to find a solution.

We will keep you posted about the progress.

Please feel free to send us your further advice and suggestion.
Thank you very much.
