Here is the 4th try.
Please playback the below 3 videos with your VLC, see how many of them pass the cut point correctly.
Please close and re-run VLC before you open each video. This will clear any error data left over.

it looks promising:

diplong1+2.ts and new.2parts.ts are each passing the cut point correctly.
old.2part.ts freezes on the cut point.

Is there already a beta test version of SmartCutter that I can test it on complete movies?

Great! The results were just what we want.

Here is the fix file.
Please backup the old .exe file under the dir of Smart Cutter, decompress the .rar, then replace the old .exe with this new one.
As for a clean test, please open a whole new uncutted movie, not a cutted one.

Dear admin,

I have tested fac.dip.fix.rar, and it fixed the problem that I found before. No more freeze at the cut point when playing with VLC. I compared it with version 1.2.9. The one cut and linked by version 1.2.9 have the freeze at cut point problem, but no more at this fixed vresion. I have tested three video clips and come out this same result.

Do you think it is possible to include the new code in the "fix video file" option of smart cutter (or to provide a separate fixing program) so that one can make the previously cut movies playable in vlc?

How many "un-playable" cutted movies do you have now?
We 'd talk to our developers to see whether we can include that code into the "fix video file".
The major trouble will be : we can not re-produce the problem on our test machines, so it is hard to debug and test.

I have about 40 movies which cannot be played in vlc. So it would be great if this could be fixed by SmartCutter.
