problems with Smart Cutter for DV and DVB 1.2.7

I'm using the smart cutter portable verson 1.2.7. Here're some problems I have with the software.

1. time point display of input file properties. with any other video edit softwares i've used before, they all start timing from 0:0:0.000s, something like that. and in smart cutter, it seems like it starts with random numbers, i have no idea what the exact time point of the frame i've selected is.

2. when i cut some video clips, the output videos seem to be corrupted some how,
here's the uncut video, after i cut off the beginning, the first few frames are like the following:

although this happans only in a few miliseconds at the beginning, it's not perfect. i'm wondering is there anyway i can avoid this kind of situation.

We just cutted your sample file with version 1.2.7, but we did not see the corrupted frames. And we uploaded the cutted movie. Could you please have it a check?

Btw, by which software did you find the corrupted frames?

Actually those are not random numbers. Those are the actual time stamps in the video stream.
As many users have mentioned the same problem as you said, we will have it modified.
Any way, we will make the time code starting from plain zero in the new version.

We ran a test on the sample(Big Fun ... 2010-04-12 - 10_30 PM ...) you sent to us, but we did not see the hang.
Could you please test it on your side on this program again?

Thank you for the updates. here's what i found out.

1.2.8a still has not fixed the timeline display and corrupted frame problem yet, and this version seems not very stable. with some files, the output function will sometimes hang, the progress bar doesn't move at all in several minutes.

sometimes the output files cannot be opened with MEGUI.

and another thing i want to menton is that, smart cutter doesn't have a preview for the outputs, sometimes preview can help to determine whether i have extra frames in my output before i actually run the whole process. now, even i select the frames i want to cut at, but the output sometimes have extra frames and sound. if the developer can add the preview feature in, that would be wonderful.
