Hi there!
i'm running the demo of v 1.9.3 for Mac and have noticed the embedded timecode of the input is discarded in the output files ... Is this a bug?
i would like to use SmartCutter for frame-precise trimming before editing, and losing the timecode won't help our workflow.
Thanks!
Smart Cutter Bug - Losing Timecode in output files

Dear krimb1:
Thanks for your message.
'the embedded timecode of the input is discarded in the output files'
Strange, it should not be.
Could you please describe the problem in more detail? What type of timecode was discarded?
Please feel free to send us your further advice and suggestion.
Thank you very much.

Thanks for the reply!
Sure, here is some more detail:
The input file has non-drop frame timecode embedded into. It starts around 20:00:00:00 (for example, as can be seen in QuickTime Player 7). However when i export the first 5 minutes using SmartCutter and look at the resulting file, the timecode is reset, starting at 00:00:00:00.
Any help would be appreciated.
