v1.9.3 still crashing as usual

No change at all with v1.9.3 on Windows 64: Still crashing in exactly the same spot as before.

There goes another year and a half. Will it take this long before the next attempt will be released? :-(

I refer to SmartCutter crashing when editing my movies (setting start and end points) and the fix was to increase the number of IFrames present in file.

Also, I had earlier troubles where SmartCutter would crash immediately on opening some of my files, and it mis-identified the resolution (in movieshop framer it would not crash but would not give me any video). The problem there was my file was not recorded right (incoming was 'yuv 4:2:0' but I encoded it 'yuv 4:2:2') - read whole thread to see details. ffmpeg may help you work around the problems?

No, I'm afraid that's not the case here. These crashes happen while transcoding, about 5% into the file.
