I'll put this together shortly. Hopefully the problem can reproduced on smaller clips.

Thanks for the quick feedback and I'll be looking forward to the next version!

1.2.4 feedback and feature requests

I use Smart Cutter to edit out commercials from HDTV recordings captured with a Hauppauge HD-PVR 1212. The original recordings are in .TS format, 720p and 59.94 fps. Audio is generally AC3, 48kHZ 384kbps. I used Total Media Extreme's standard capture module for recording. After editing with Smart Cu...

Thanks.

Sorry for the late followup. Thanks for the reply.

Thanks!

1.2.4a - fails at 89% every time

Using ver 1.2.4a to cut commercials from video obtained with a hauppauge HD-PVR. After editing, the project contains 6 segments. Every time I try to output the final result, I get an error message ("memory could not be read") at the exact same point - 89% progress on segment 3. I tried edi...

What does "stream fix" do?

When opening the options, there's a checkbox for "stream fix."
What exactly does this option do?

Re: original movie 50fps - output 25fps ?

Same problem here. Original video from a Hauppauge HDPVR is 59.94 fps. Output by SmartCutter is 25fps.
I've emailed clips to support.
Looking forward to a fix.

Thanks!

Re: Strange results

OK - I downloaded the files you made and played them and I still see the same behavior, but not so much in VLC. I tried something else. I went back to an older file which had multiple cuts and had shown the "pause and jump" behavior. This time I used TS muxer to demux it, then used MKVMerg...
