Re: V1.3.5 Win 7 compability issue
Do you have eventually a nvidia Graphik-card with a 260 driver? This was my problem. Upgrading to the current driver 266 solved this problem for me.

Re: Cutter bug with ACVCHD from Lumix Cams
Additional finding:
If I select Autodeinterlace, the problem seem to disappear. BUT this options is not stored. If I open the options, select the autodeinterlace option, click ok and reopen the options, the check signal disappeared again.

The new official beta 266.35 works with smart cutter. Just download it from nvidia 'beta and archive'.

Cutter bug with ACVCHD from Lumix Cams
I'm sure at least V1.2 of smart cutter worked fine with these videos, but the resent V1.34 has serious troubles with AVCHD lite movies from Lumix Cams (TZ7 and TZ10). The movies can be handled just like any other movie, but the cut result hangs for a second or so at the start cutting point. To be ex...

smart cutter crashes with nvidia 260.99
It looks like the problem was within the nvidia driver 260.99. Up to now, stepping back to older versions prevented the crashes. The newly released (beta) driver 265.35 works again with smart cutter. So only the 260.99 and some later betas had the problem with smart cutter. So for all nvidia users w...

Re: Smart Cutter crash with Nvidia 260.99 graphic drivers
I just tried Gigabyte's 263.00 driver (WHQL certified) on my Win7 x64 edition and smart cutter 1.3.1 and 1.3.2 (even with disabled preview) crashed. nvidia 258.96 works with all versions.

Re: Crashing fixed
And once again a finding: If I revert to nvidia 258.96, the cutter works again without crashing during the cut (the problem with the exit is still there).
So the step to the current driver is not good for the cutter.

Re: Crashing fixed
One additional thing: If I rename the file and the cutter (1.3.0) is working, there is another problem: When I hit Exit during a cut I get this error message:
Assertion failed
File: facApi/fixMpeg.c
Line: 885
Expression: 0 >= mMemPacketStream.num_packets
