I am not getting a cut file at all - I don't see how you could be. The file get's created, but is a zero length file and the program crashes with error as mentioned above. Crash when cutting GH4 File
I've been a SmartCutter user for about a year with my previous camera. I've recently switched to the Panasonic GH4 and have not been able to get SmartCutter to cut the mp4 files from the camera. Excellent work! I was able to re-trim the 30 or do affected clips in the video above and see no "stutter" in the updated video (https://vimeo.com/67626406). Will keep an eye on it for my next project. Really hoping this works out as I see SmartCutter being a very integral part of my workfl...

The stutter is always in the first several frames. For instance, in the clip (2013_06_01_OlympicII_Wreck48.MTS) you mention, review frames 1-8 (from within Smart Cutter). Do this by opening the MTS file, and then clicking on the "forward one frame" button. You will see the fish go forward ...

Oops - Using ftp via command prompt and didn't have file type set to binary. Re-uploaded files - please let me know if they still do not work. Thanks!
