Re: General question about .ts cutting errors
Thanks. Sorry for the delay. I almost forgot  (and did not set the notify...) The problem occurs with different files. I know it is related to .ts stream errors (probably time code). Yes, it occurs again (several), some with 'ads' cutting. Sometimes, you just have to add some frames (those wit...

General question about .ts cutting errors
 Hello. I am wondering for an explanation on Smart-cutting the .ts stream. I recently cut a long movie (Notre-dame de Paris) from TNT. The cut with Smart was no fault, but VLC (the worst player, but good to fail on any errors) found a lenght of 1h instead of 2h10'. I tried the same cut direct...

Go to function improvment
:D Hi. I suggested some time ago a 'goto' function, which has been implemented, thanks to you. I would just like to suggest adding an 'infobulle' on the time counter, suggesting it's ole, and that a clic on it will allow to go to a specified precise frame. There are infobulle on most of the button o...

Re: Some remarks on problems editing M2ts records made by EL
Just to let you know that I loaded 1.8.3 today, and found out the possibility to 'GO TO' that I requested before.
Just a bit hard to find how to get there, but many Thanks for it.

Re: Some remarks on problems editing M2ts records made by EL
Strangely, I received an e-mail about answer to this post today, but no changes. Anyway, I may conclude that except some random failures to load a .ts file, the cutter works perfectly well. It can most of the time repair the failling files. Afterward, I gave up on Avs4you, as it is definitely unable...

Re: Smart cutter 1.4 and 1.7.0 crash
Hi. I am ready to give up on AVSforyou. Besides having troubles with the files cut by Smart, they say that they cannot reproduce my main problem, which is severe 'colour banding' on ALL the files they produced, whatever the codec implied. I tried Format Factory, and if it is quite unable to e...

Re: Smart cutter 1.4 and 1.7.0 crash
Hi. I know that the problem is rather oriented 'Avs' fault, but I have difficulties getting a clear small cutting. Using the large file that get AVS errors when opened, I created a small .ts segment that contains a 'glitch' in TNT reception. It is not exactly the preceding symptom. When I try to ope...

Re: Smart cutter 1.4 and 1.7.0 crash
Thanks and Hello. On the 3 problems resumed, one is solved. I am using the latest version of AVS Converter 8.3.2.533. I did not understand completely the AVS doc, so I was unable to cut the .ts files. In fact, AVS is doing the contrary of the usual way, one must 'select' what should be CUT in the cl...

Re: Smart cutter 1.4 and 1.7.0 crash
OK, I had a too quick answer, so I will try to be complete. I tried a second file, more recent, and it fails the same way, near the middle. But the work of AVS was a bit strange there. I tried to create a similar record of 1 minute, but it is really 1:46. So it is a bit larger that 100 Mb. But I am ...

Re: Smart cutter 1.4 and 1.7.0 crash
Thanks, but Sorry, this is not possible. The file has not been recorded, but converted by AVS Converter from a 10 Gb source. AVS will not open the 'cut' file made by Smart, and it will not cut properly the source. I know that the file is vonluntarily TRUNCATED under windows, so it will be meaningles...
