Re: crashing every time, no progress over the last two years

I'm using TS-Doctor, too, but it isn't frame-accurate when cutting. That's what I need SmartCutter for in the first place: I first pipe the video through TSD to fix errors and remove superfluous tracks, as well as doing a "coarse cut". After that, I'm using SmartCutter to perform the final...

Re: crashing every time, no progress over the last two years

Hi, In the interim, I found a simple workaround for the persistent crashes: In "Options", uncheck "Stream Fix". No more crashes. Thanks for nothing, support! In two years (!!!) you weren't able to produce a hint as blatantly simple as that? You haven't worked the bug AT ALL, isn'...

crashing every time, no progress over the last two years (!)

Hello,

I just tried to run v1.9.3 again on a completly new system. As expected, it crashed again right away.

How much more time do you intend to let pass before _finally_ working this critical bug? It's been TWO YEARS already!!!

Re: developement stopped

How many Mac users do you have against how many Windows users?

Just curious.

developement stopped

Hello,

since development of SmartCutter has been stopped anyway, how about making it open source? Maybe someone else can restore it to working state again.

Currently, it is unusable. That's not a happy state for those who payed good money for a license.

Re: v1.9.3 still crashing as usual

No, I'm afraid that's not the case here. These crashes happen while transcoding, about 5% into the file.

v1.9.3 still crashing as usual

No change at all with v1.9.3 on Windows 64: Still crashing in exactly the same spot as before.

There goes another year and a half. Will it take this long before the next attempt will be released? :-(

Re: crashing every time

It has been a full 18 months since the problem has first been reported. That's one and a half years. Since that time, the program is unusable. We're not talking some cosmetic nicety here, but "catasthrophic failure" (complete non-functionality.) It is no longer a matter of loosing a reputa...

crashing every time

Hello, One and a half year ago myself and numerous others reported reproducable crashes of SmartCutter. The program is unusable. There has been no progress at all fixing these issues yet. Samples have been uploaded to Famering's ftp server on more than one occasion. What do you need to finally get t...

Re: v1.9.2 still crashing

Hello,

you are aware that the crashes occur under Windows, aren't you? Nobody even mentioned MacOS.
