I was wondering if anyone knows how to split a m2ts video file? It is Sony HD format, typically used for blu-ray.

I used byte file splitter as a tool to quickly open large data files and cut out clips that I want to use in my office. I want something similar for HD video files now in M2TS files. I need to be able to see the Frame Accurately and be able to step left and right in the editor to mark beginning and end of a clip. It is unclear what tool would be best for doing so.

After an extensive search I realize no software currently exists to split M2TS files Frame Accurately without re-encoding, so that all parts are playable. I tried may programs and they simply don't work, no better than a standard file splitter.
