Want to Join Mts Files?
You're in the right place! We offer you :
When you got your first AVCHD Camcorder, you surely will enjoy its astonishing video quality and the easy usage. Suppose you recently went to holiday with your AVCHD camera, you went to a wedding and wanted to shoot some videos. After you recorded quite a few hours worth of movie, you would mostly want to make it a bit shorter and cut out the boring parts. However, this may also put you in a tough position when you want editing, trimming, and joining AVCHD video.
Many AVCHD camcorders generate MTS files as their output.
What's MTS file?
MTS format is a high-definition MPEG, AVC, H.264 transport stream video file format which commonly used by HD camcorders such as Sony, Canon, Panasonic. MTS files are used primarily with Sony hardware. Camcorders make use of MTS in the form of AVCHD, a recording format made specifically for camcorders. Some camcorder models from Canon also use MTS files. These files are also present on Blu-ray disc compilations, therefore they are capable of storing quite a large amount of information and data tracks.
Usually the utilities that came with the cameras can roughly edit, trim and join MTS files, but not very well, especially, they are not Frame Accurate.
How will you join MST files Frame Accurately? When you have a movie that has multiple .MTS files in a PC folder, which software will you take to join MTS files together?
How do you join the dozens of .mts files from the AVCHD Camera into one playable file and keeping the original quality? Some video converters will join them but will re-encode them to a single file. Re-Encoding will degrade the video quality, and take too much time waiting. You surely will just want to join them together, without losing quality.
Finally, there is a solution that works, Frame Accurate without re-encoding MTS files.
In theory, it is technically possible to join .mts files when they have the same video/audio streams and their meta datas are compatible, but this task is not so easy, practically.
When you use the simple editing utility came with the AVCHD Camcoder, you may find it not Frame Accurate. When you step through the video frame by frame, there often are gaps at the joining point for scenes.
Are you still looking for an easy-to-use AVCHD joiner? Some converter would provide .mts or .m2ts output with decoding and encoding. However, the compression progress will take a long time. The fastest way to merge and join MTS files into a single MTS file would be the one that does not require recompression.
